Janet James

Janet's paintings are landscapes, somewhat abstract, drawing inspiration from her travels around the UK and different countries. 

Colour and texture are at the heart of Janet's practice. She uses a variety of different media and techniques to capture moments of tranquility as well as the raw energy of the sea that surrounds our unique and diverse isles.
